



















Steve´s last challenge was the St Helens 10k run back in May so training for the End-To-End Extreme had to wait until the run was out of the way. Click here to read more about Steve and the Foundation he inspirationally fronts.
"...because Martin (Foundation Secretary) told me to!! Another bright idea! Ha!"
Neil, who played professional RL for Warrington, Leeds, Bradford and Huddersfield, doesn´t class himself as a competent cyclist. He´ll also be taking on the three peaks for the first time but does say the nearest challenge he´s done to this was a Coast to Coast bike ride.
"Always up for a challenge and Steve said it was a sponsored bike pub crawl!!"
Paul is an ex pro who has played for Wigan, London, Rochdale and Swinton and this is his first SPF challenge. Paul is a competent cyclist who is out most weekends.
"To give myself a goal to train for and raise money for a fantastic cause."
Steve is a former St Helens and London Broncos rugby league player and is no stranger to SPF events having taken part in the rigorous "Carnegie Challenge" back in 2009. Steve confidently boasts he has no concerns about the "End-To-End Extreme" and is relishing the challenge.
James works for Engage Mutual and manages the Super League sponsorship. Inspired by Steve, James was keen to get involved with one of the challenges but worries he might have picked the wrong one as he hasn´t been on a bicycle since his teens.
"To push myself and do something I´m really proud of. I love how the Foundation is keen to inspire people to take up challenges, as well as the raising of vital funds for two great causes."
Paul also works at Engage Mutual and is a Web Developer. Paul is a keen mountain biker and hopes that will transfer well when he takes to the roads of Britain.
"To raise money for two good causes and while at it...to push myself both physically and mentally on this epic challenge. Given that the challenge is Team-based I´m looking forward to fun times getting to know some great people."
Nigel is a business man with several companies based both locally and in Manchester. A keen and competent cyclist who´s biggest challenge to date has been to cycle from Portugal, through Spain and into France, where he rode all the major mountains that have been covered on the Tour de France and finally finishing in Geneva.
"I´m always keen to undertake a new challenge both mentally and physically, with this challenge I can also help benefit people at a time in their lives when they need it most.."
Steve is a Trustee of the Steve Prescott Foundation and has been involved virtually from the start. He´s been involved in all the major events so far and last year as a team cycled Lands End to John O´Groats in ten days raising over £11,000 for the SPF.
"After LEJOG last year I vowed never again and here we are 13 months later, this time fitter but 150 miles further plus the 3 peaks. It´s a great way to keep fit and raise £1,000´s for an amazing cause."
Andy has played rugby league for Fulham, Thatto Heath and St Helens ´A´ team and End-To-End Extreme is his first SPF challenge. Giving himself every chance to make the challenge as easy as possible; Andy probably has the most expensive bike in the group!!! When asked what´s his biggest concern about the whole challenge, Andy simply answered "Jon Neil"!

Although it will be incredibly tough and a struggle at times, going through it with Prekky will be inspiration enough to complete this unique and somewhat mad challenge...........bring it on!"
