Steve Prescott

Steve Prescott MBE aka "Precky"

Steve´s last challenge was the St Helens 10k run back in May so training for the End-To-End Extreme had to wait until the run was out of the way. Click here to read more about Steve and the Foundation he inspirationally fronts.

Why are you involved?

"...because Martin (Foundation Secretary) told me to!! Another bright idea! Ha!"

Neil Harmon

Neil Harmon aka "Chateaux"

Neil, who played professional RL for Warrington, Leeds, Bradford and Huddersfield, doesn´t class himself as a competent cyclist. He´ll also be taking on the three peaks for the first time but does say the nearest challenge he´s done to this was a Coast to Coast bike ride.

Why are you involved?

"Always up for a challenge and Steve said it was a sponsored bike pub crawl!!"

Steve Hall

Steve Hall

Paul Barrow

Paul Barrow

James Ogden

James Ogden

James works for Engage Mutual and manages the Super League sponsorship. Inspired by Steve, James was keen to get involved with one of the challenges but worries he might have picked the wrong one as he hasn´t been on a bicycle since his teens.

Why are you involved?

"To push myself and do something I´m really proud of. I love how the Foundation is keen to inspire people to take up challenges, as well as the raising of vital funds for two great causes."

Paul Horridge

Paul Horridge aka "Porridge"

Paul also works at Engage Mutual and is a Web Developer. Paul is a keen mountain biker and hopes that will transfer well when he takes to the roads of Britain.

Why are you involved?

"To raise money for two good causes and while at it...to push myself both physically and mentally on this epic challenge. Given that the challenge is Team-based I´m looking forward to fun times getting to know some great people."

Nigel Johnson

Nigel Johnson

Nigel is a business man with several companies based both locally and in Manchester. A keen and competent cyclist who´s biggest challenge to date has been to cycle from Portugal, through Spain and into France, where he rode all the major mountains that have been covered on the Tour de France and finally finishing in Geneva.

Why are you involved?

"I´m always keen to undertake a new challenge both mentally and physically, with this challenge I can also help benefit people at a time in their lives when they need it most.."

Steve White aka "Whitey" or obviously "Racing Snake Numero Uno"

Steve is a Trustee of the Steve Prescott Foundation and has been involved virtually from the start. He´s been involved in all the major events so far and last year as a team cycled Lands End to John O´Groats in ten days raising over £11,000 for the SPF.

Why are you involved?

"After LEJOG last year I vowed never again and here we are 13 months later, this time fitter but 150 miles further plus the 3 peaks. It´s a great way to keep fit and raise £1,000´s for an amazing cause."
